Update: Bashur Scandal

You've probably all heard about it: the "Bashur Scandal". It's viral on YouTube, mostly because of people who don't know anything about it just straight up jumping to conclusions. 
My first post relied on some of that information that was... made up by some guys on YouTube and shared up to the point where everybody thought it was actually the truth. I'm really pissed about this because I think that lies ending up being seen as truth is something that can destroy relationships and basically ruin someone's career or even worse.
Let's summarize what we actually know for sure now.

Bashur's Life

What first seemed like lies and manipulation, now turns out to be the truth. Bashur posted a video about the scandal before anyone else reported on the story because he wanted to get the truth out there before any lies were spreaded.

He gets very emotional in this video, because he has been keeping this information to himself for such a long time. Keemstar reported saying that he faked his emotions to manipulate his fans and act as if he was the "victim".

The way Keemstar said it (I saw his video first) made me think that Bashur was actually victim blaming. This was not the case: he simply told his life story to explain what's going through his mind and give a clear view of what had happened in his life ending in him actually asking for stuff like sex. She was, reportedly, his everything. We all know that feeling, it puts logical thoughts aside and makes your heart decide what you say or do (in this case only say, he didn't actually have sex with her because then he would've probably been in jail for a lot longer). What he said (online) was dumb, but then again you could also talk about what her parents did: they hired a private investigator to spy on their own daughter!!! What parent even does that kind of a thing???
When he finished off his story, he talked about how he shut himself off from society to punish himself for what he had done. He legitimately felt so sorry for what he had said that he locked himself in his room for such a long time...
Now Keemstar started to pick on Bashur over Twitter because that's just what Keemstar does.
What didn't make it any better is that Clara left him because she, according to herself, "didn't want all the lies anymore".

Bashur quits YouTube!?

Bashur made a short video where he just broke down, he showed that he no longer wanted to be in this mess and said he would quit YouTube. This resulted in Keemstar basically thinking "this guy is down and out, let's kick him even more" and he just kept going and it got worse and worse.

Poor Keemstar feels sorry for Bashur :-(

Keemstar received proof of Bashur not lying in his Life Story and Confession video, the others basically just making up stuff to make them dumping Bashur look like the right thing to do and even Clara lied about why she left Bashur. Clara turns out to be a huge gold digger: she got together with Bashur when he gave her the opportunity to start up a career in the YouTube community, but when his career seemed to come to an end she quickly sided with the BahmLounge to work on their project.
He explained himself in an interview with Bashur and the guy accepted the offer to do that interview and get the truth out there. This was, obviously, because Keemstar knew what he had done was terrible and he wanted to compensate his actions by saying he was wrong.

My opinion on this interview is that it's good that Bashur got a chance of repairing the damage, but that still doesn't make up for all the damage that Keemstar has done to the guy. Keemstar has nothing to do with the MineCraft YouTube community and he shouldn't throw fuel into the fire of something that is going on within it. What Bashur did was bad, but that doesn't mean someone that has nothing to do with it can just jump in and ruin the guy's life.
Keemstar, you had nothing to do with the Bashur situation and you know it. It only got bad when you got involved, when you started to interview girls once they claimed they had something to do with the situation. Do you even realise that these girls are using you for the publicity and that they're just as bad of gold diggers as Clara is?
I hope you now understand that getting involved with other people's business can backfire towards you. Even your own fans said you were going too far with it, but you didn't listen. You kept on kicking on a guy that was already down and out. Why? Why are you so pathetic? Why do you think that we want you to just pick on other people whenever they show off a weak spot? Why do you think you're even funny? Why don't you see that your YouTube channels got deleted for a reason and that if any of us got a chance we'd delete it again right away?
Seriously, leave Bashur alone and let him recover by himself. The interview was the good thing to do, but the fact that you obviously only did it to prevent him from destroying your career and sueing you right away is sickening.
I'm getting sick of this Keemstar guy, I'm out of here.

The Way I Game

Well, everyone has their own style when it comes down to gaming, and I want to talk about mine.

The games I play

RuneScape

It's an MMORPG based around you developing your characters and training various skills. The reason I like it is because you can choose what direction you want to go with your character: will you mainly train the non-combat skills, or are you the type for exploring dungeons and killing every monster you see? It's up to you, really. I play RS3, the newest version of the game. It's a brower-based game, but I have a downloaded client for it just to be able to start gaming faster :-P. It's an awesome game in my opinion, but it might not be for those that are easily fooled by scammers etc. because those are, unfortunately, still playing the game and want to get your account emptied as fast as possible so that they can sell your stuff for real-life money.
Apart from the scammers, that are almost as bad as the Indian callcenter guys, the game is very good: it gets frequently updated so that there will always be content for you to discover, the developers are constantly working on getting cheaters out of the game as effectively as possible and they are good at that and last but not least: the community is awesome once you get to know the way their personalities generally work.
I personally play a skiller: I try to make my way through the game without fighting ANY monsters. This is pretty hard, as the game is combat-based.

MineCraft

I know, I know... loads of people think this game is extremely childish. For me, it's a way to get creative without necessarily getting comments about what I make. I build stuff in Creative mode, mostly on the Vadact Buildteam server (part of the Shotbow Network). Those guys really know how to take creativity to the next level, and that's exactly what I like so much about the Vadact server. They are skilled, know how to have a laugh and you never see any of the actual Vadact members get mad in chat or anything like that. Their world consists out of plots, small areas of land you can claim and build your stuff on. You start off with absolutely nothing: no landscape, no structure, just a flat surface. This is what we make of that flat surface:

We fill it up with montains, trees, bushes, rivers, cities, hot air balloons and much more. If you build very good on your plot, you'll get promoted to the next rank and you receive an additional (sometimes also bigger) plot for you to build your next project on.

Gaming behavior

Gaming communities are just like real life communities (sometimes a whole lot weirder, but that depends on the community just like in real life). That's why you need to behave yourself in order to really fit in with a certain community. If you come across some guys building up a meme community, you should stimulate them and give them advice on what you think would be awesome in a meme. If you come across some Call of Duty try-harders, you shouldn't start to talk about that one cat meme you saw on the internet yesterday (even though it may be awesome).
In the Vadact community, you have to remain a bit serious but there is plenty of room for jokes. Helping others is mandatory, so don't get too selfish around there! If you don't help others and give advice about what improvements could be made to a build whenever it's asked, you won't really get into the community and you'll just be sitting there on the side.

Setup

Oh, the ever-so-important setup. My setup is pretty much just a basic home PC (Acer) with two relatively small monitors (Samsung) and a pretty cheap keyboard (Acer, came with the PC), a wireless mouse (Logitech, obviously) and one of the cheapest microphones (Audio-Technica) that delivers relatively decent quality. I also have headphones (Philips, ordered online because my Turtle Beach was broken), but those were in my bedroom when I took the picture.

That's basically all I can say about the way I game, I hope you all liked it!
