I've been experiencing some trouble with the YouTube thumbnails glitching out lately, in this post I'll explain what exactly has been happening.
So YouTube is a really big platform and whenever they experience glitches in their system, it's a pretty big deal. Over the past couple of days I've been seeing the thumbnails of videos in my subboxes just magically switch places and return to their original place whenever I went over them with my mouse. This is something really weird and it has been bugging me quite a lot.
The thumbnails are something really important for gaining new subscribers: they attract viewers to a certain video and if they like that video they may actually subscribe to your channel. A good-looking thumbnail gives you an idea of what the content is going to be like, and at the moment you can't really discover any new content because of the glitches.
I hope someone at YouTube is doing something about it and I'll talk to you all later.

My Daily Routine: Holidays
Everyone has their own daily routine. After watching some YouTubers discuss theirs, I decided that as this blog is about my life and what interests me it'd probably be a good idea to describe my very own daily routine. This post features my daily routine whenever I don't have to go to school.
When I arrive downstairs, I eat breakfast real quick (not too quick, I need the energy because noon/afternoon is when I write most of my blog posts and make most of my YouTube videos) and play some guitar.
I really love both of these platforms because they allow me to express my interests in a positive way and both of them can provide a potential income for the future. Don't you think it'd be awesome to turn a hobby into an actual job? So do I.
Apart from that, every night is movie night if you ask me. I watch loads of movies, my favorites probably being the Star Wars movies and Need for Speed.
Then I go to bed, just to wake up the next morning and restart my daily routine.

Morning/Noon
I get up very late in the holidays, as most people do. I don't really like getting up too early so I stay in bed for a while, watching some YouTube videos on my phone and checking if there's any tech news for me to dive right into. Noon/Afternoon
This is the interesting part of my daily routine. It's when I manage my Blogger and YouTube, when I gather information and inspiration for stuff to produce and put online. I don't make any money from this, but it's what I like to do and my hobbies are simply very time consuming.I really love both of these platforms because they allow me to express my interests in a positive way and both of them can provide a potential income for the future. Evening
I like to cook (mostly dessert), so I'm often the chef whenever the holidays are back in town. Update: Bashur Scandal
You've probably all heard about it: the "Bashur Scandal". It's viral on YouTube, mostly because of people who don't know anything about it just straight up jumping to conclusions.
My first post relied on some of that information that was... made up by some guys on YouTube and shared up to the point where everybody thought it was actually the truth. I'm really pissed about this because I think that lies ending up being seen as truth is something that can destroy relationships and basically ruin someone's career or even worse.
Let's summarize what we actually know for sure now.
He gets very emotional in this video, because he has been keeping this information to himself for such a long time. Keemstar reported saying that he faked his emotions to manipulate his fans and act as if he was the "victim".
The way Keemstar said it (I saw his video first) made me think that Bashur was actually victim blaming. This was not the case: he simply told his life story to explain what's going through his mind and give a clear view of what had happened in his life ending in him actually asking for stuff like sex. She was, reportedly, his everything. We all know that feeling, it puts logical thoughts aside and makes your heart decide what you say or do (in this case only say, he didn't actually have sex with her because then he would've probably been in jail for a lot longer). What he said (online) was dumb, but then again you could also talk about what her parents did: they hired a private investigator to spy on their own daughter!!! What parent even does that kind of a thing???
When he finished off his story, he talked about how he shut himself off from society to punish himself for what he had done. He legitimately felt so sorry for what he had said that he locked himself in his room for such a long time...
Now Keemstar started to pick on Bashur over Twitter because that's just what Keemstar does.
What didn't make it any better is that Clara left him because she, according to herself, "didn't want all the lies anymore".
He explained himself in an interview with Bashur and the guy accepted the offer to do that interview and get the truth out there. This was, obviously, because Keemstar knew what he had done was terrible and he wanted to compensate his actions by saying he was wrong.
My opinion on this interview is that it's good that Bashur got a chance of repairing the damage, but that still doesn't make up for all the damage that Keemstar has done to the guy. Keemstar has nothing to do with the MineCraft YouTube community and he shouldn't throw fuel into the fire of something that is going on within it. What Bashur did was bad, but that doesn't mean someone that has nothing to do with it can just jump in and ruin the guy's life.
Keemstar, you had nothing to do with the Bashur situation and you know it. It only got bad when you got involved, when you started to interview girls once they claimed they had something to do with the situation. Do you even realise that these girls are using you for the publicity and that they're just as bad of gold diggers as Clara is?
I hope you now understand that getting involved with other people's business can backfire towards you. Even your own fans said you were going too far with it, but you didn't listen. You kept on kicking on a guy that was already down and out. Why? Why are you so pathetic? Why do you think that we want you to just pick on other people whenever they show off a weak spot? Why do you think you're even funny? Why don't you see that your YouTube channels got deleted for a reason and that if any of us got a chance we'd delete it again right away?
Seriously, leave Bashur alone and let him recover by himself. The interview was the good thing to do, but the fact that you obviously only did it to prevent him from destroying your career and sueing you right away is sickening.

My opinion on social media (RANT)
My blog may be called "The Average Life", my opinion on social media like Facebook, Instagram and Vine is all but average. I like stuff like Twitter, YouTube and Blogger because those have what you need without any additional crap that comes with it. Google and Twitter are both great platforms for creativity combined with productivity. But Facebook, Instagram and Vine are just full of people that are ruining your fun by spamming you with stuff you didn't ask for. I've tried all three of them and deactivated my accounts on them because of people just putting unnecessary stuff on there. I don't need to know how much your dog hates bathing, and certainly not how much slices of bread you ate this morning! In my opinion the platforms themselves are great, but the way they're being used ruins it all.
Sorry for the rant, I just got carried away by my old Facebook friends spamming my e-mail with stuff like " Why don't you come on Facebook anymore?" or "Why did you disappear from my friends list?". If you've ever concidered sending such a message, think about wether or not the person you want to send it to has a personality that matches the platform.
